Events

Each year, ASACCU offers a conference in the summer hosted by one of our member institutions. This conference is the major program of the Association through the year.  

The purpose of the conference is to:

  • Promote an understanding of the rich Catholic intellectual tradition and its relevance for student affairs professionals
  • Share tools, resources, best practices and challenges of our work, with relevance for student affairs professionals at all levels and career stages
  • Celebrate the mission of Catholic higher education and the vital role of student affairs in that mission
  • Build a community rooted in the highest standards of the profession and in the diversity of our gifts, stories, cultures and faiths
  • Deepen our understanding and application of the Principles of Good Practice for Student Affairs Catholic Colleges and Universities

In addition to the summer conference, ASACCU hosts an annual SSAO Roundtable each Fall, typically in November. This Roundtable discussion invites senior student affairs leaders to meaningful conversation on trending issues and topics designed by the attendees themselves. Registration is usually limited to 50 individuals and includes a group dining experience.
