ASACCU_Logo_OPTWelcome to the Association for Student Affairs at Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASACCU).

This year ASACCU celebrates its 10th anniversary.  ASACCU was founded in 1999 by a group of student affairs practitioners working at Catholic colleges and universities in the United States.  The purpose of the organization is to provide an opportunity for communication and colleagueship among student affairs professionals who work at Catholic institutions.

ASACCU also provides opportunities to increase one’s knowledge and understanding of the Catholic intellectual tradition, as well as opportunities to discuss how to apply that understanding in one’s day-to-day work with students on campus.  ASACCU is an independent organization, but is affiliated with the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU).  We also collaborate with the Jesuit Association of Student Personnel Administrators (JASPA), and many Jesuit institutions are members of both organizations.

Through our annual conference, activities, and website, ASACCU provides our members with opportunities to deepen their understanding of the Catholic tradition as it applies to their professional practice, and to network with student affairs professionals and others who work at Catholic colleges and universities.

ASACCU operates under a constitution and is governed by an Executive Director and elected Board of Directors.  Our office is housed at Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
